The town of Ravensthorpe is nestles into the Ravensthorpe range near the centre of a large shire, which includes the town of Hopetoun and the Fitzgerald River and Frank Hann National Parks. Boasting wonderful inland bush and farm lands and also dramatic coastlines. The Fitzgerald National park is world famous for its year round range of wildflowers with over 20% of WA’s known plant species and is a UNESCO Biosphere.

The town of Ravensthorpe is surrounded by ancient rocky ranges, rugged river valleys, vast sand plains, rare animal species and historical mining sites. Stop and enjoy the town’s facilities, including a rest area, public toilets and barbeque facilities in Jubilee Park on Morgan’s Street.

Over the years the Ravensthorpe wildflower show has developed into one of the best in Western Australia with possibly the largest number of different species on show.

The picturesque town of Hopetoun reaches out into the pristine Southern Ocean between two sweeping bays. Hopetoun is the main eastern gateway to the Fitzgerald River National Park.

Visitors to the area should make sure to take advantage of the wealth on information available at the Raventhorpe-Hopetoun Visitor Centre and Museum.
