Skippers Aviation, a Perth based regional airline, is seeking enthusiastic, committed, hardworking individuals for both casual and full time ground handling positions for our busy Domestic Airport operation. Skippers employs approximately 215 staff in its operation, running over 120 flights to various destinations around the State every week. The Ramp Officer role involves managing aircraft and passenger movements on our very busy apron. It also involves loading and unloading baggage and freight, marshalling aircraft, general aircraft cleaning duties and maintenance of ground service equipment. Ramp Officers also assist with ground powered aircraft starts, servicing of aircraft toilets and are responsible for towing and repositioning aircraft. The position involves shift work (shifts run between the hours of 4:30 am and 9:00 pm) and only occasional weekend work. Applicants must be prepared to work outdoors in all conditions (although all uniforms and protective gear are provided). Successful applicants will be positively motivated people who don't mind hard work and who know the meaning of initiative. They will be physically fit and hold an unrestricted WA Driver's License.
