Levy Increases as Fuel Price Peaks Again

Skippers have again been forced to follow suit with other airlines and add a further increase to its fuel levy today as the cost of fuel continues to escalate.

An increase of $3 per sector will bring the current levy from $19 to $22.

However, as part of Skippers' continued commitment to offering the lowest possible fares to travellers across WA, the levy increase will be absorbed on “SkipEdeal” internet airfares, leaving the current price of this popular class of airfare unchanged.

The increase will apply to flights booked after 2nd September 2005 and will continue to be reviewed in line with changing oil price levels.
