Regional Airfare Zone Cap Scheme
The Regional Airfare Zone Cap (RAZC) scheme is a partnership between the Western Australian Government and Skippers Aviation that helps make air travel more affordable for eligible residents of Laverton, Leonora, Mount Magnet, Meekatharra, and Wiluna.
Under the scheme, one-way airfares between these regional communities and Perth are capped at $199 when booked as a return journey, making it easier for regional residents to access essential services, employment, education, and family connections.
Eligibility
Zone Cap fares are available to eligible residents living in regional Western Australia outside the Perth and Peel regions. To access a Zone Cap fare, passengers must:
- Travel for personal purposes only.
- Book a return journey that departs from and returns to the same regional destination.
- Comply with the scheme’s annual limit of 12 return trips per person.
- Meet all eligibility requirements of the Regional Airfare Zone Cap Scheme.
